SUZANNE COFFMAN started her career in 1991, working in the synchronization licensing department of music publisher, Rondor Music International (now part of Universal Music Publishing Group). In addition to licensing out Rondor's extensive catalog, she worked closely with Rondor songwriters placing music in film and television projects.
Interest in music clearance led Suzanne to the position of GM, West Coast for a New York based music clearance company, where she oversaw clearances for film, television, marketing, advertising, samples and compilation albums.
In March 2000, Suzanne established MUSIC RIGHTZ, where she continues to serve as its President and CEO.
A California native, Suzanne is a graduate of California State University, Northridge where she has served on the Board of Directors for CSUN's Journalism Alumni Association. Suzanne has been a guest speaker on various music industry panels, including UCLA Extension and the Pacific Northwest Entertainment and Arts Law Conference. She also volunteers for Junior Achievement, lending time to JA's Finance Park where she teaches financial literacy and life skills to high school students.
